The Association of Genetic Technologists was founded in 1975 to promote the
development of all phases of genetics; to foster the exchange of information
between those interested in genetics; to encourage cooperation among persons
actively engaged in genetics; and to stimulate interest in genetics as a
career. Currently, AGT has more than 1,300 members representing laboratories,
hospitals and institutions around the world. AGT offers the following
